This week welcomed Glenys Garnett BA (Hons) RPS who is a visual artist and uses photography as her primary medium to realise her creative ideas around nature and the environment, to give her talk, ‘Developing a Creative approach’. And boy, did Glenys give u a multitude of ideas and ways to move our creative abilities forward.

Glenys talked of vision, inspiration and her personal projects, how to use different printing techniques, and planning. She asked if we set out as an artist or a photographer and compared the approach taken by both.

Glynys also spoke about the barriers we place that hinder our creatitvity, and how to deal with them. she covered some of her favourite photographers, with many examples of their authors’ work, and the influence they had on her creative journey. an excellent talk that was throughly enjoyed by many members of the club.
