Devizes Photography club v Frome Wessex Photographic

We enjoyed an Inter-Club Battle between Devizes Photography Club and Frome Wessex Photographic. It was lovely to see so many members from Frome traveling to us for the evening. Our Judge Maria Leekblade LRPS AFIAP DPAGB did an excellent job of critiquing the images which were of a high standard from both clubs making her job very difficult.

Congratulations go to Tony Leach with a Cluster of Bonnets, Jen Skjoldbro with Urban Reverie, John Wheeley with Jetty Lights and Sandra Foulstone with Frost on Monument hill, who all scored 10 out of 10 the judges top marks.

Devizes photography club were the winners by just 2 points in what was an extremely close battle and were presented with the Lynda Croft Trophy. This trophy was donated in Lynda’s memory by her friends. Lynda was a valued member and treasurer of both clubs.

Many thanks to our selection team for choosing the images and to Richard our competition secretary for all the work he does in the background and on the night to run a smooth competition.Also a big thank you to Caroline and Barbara who provided cake as a special treat for the evening.
