The Art of Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) photography

This evening Devizes Photography Club welcomed Charlotte Bellamy (Master Craftsman Guild of Photographers. Judge and panel member Guild of Photographers) on zoom from Holland, to talk about intentional camera movement, ICM. Charlotte started her career doing portrait and wedding photography, and following a trip to Scotland, began to do landscape and then ICM. She is keen to use her senses and observation to create an image in character with the environment. Charlotte explained the techniques she uses to suit the scene, accentuating the positives and reducing the negatives in post processing. She has gained her Master Craftsman certificate through the Guild of Photographers, and we were treated to many amazing images offering a different perspective from that of our eyes
