Print and Projected Image of the Year
The best of the best over the 2022-23 season.
Our judge for the night was Peter Weaver APAGB CPAGB LRPS and he was very complementary of the standard of images the club presented commenting that in the intermediate category that many of the images would have been better that advance images in other clubs. Peter also thought that the beginners images within our club were of a very high standard. He also found it very difficult making a decision in the advanced section because again the quality of images were so high.
Tony Leach in the Beginners section and Jane Wiltshire in the Advanced section both achieved 3 placings across the print and projected image categories in what was a close competition.
I think that our image quality is achieved in part due to the wonderful programme put together by Frank Collins giving us a range of high quality speakers across different genres to enhance our knowledge and technical skills this is backed by Dave Eagle on the technology side allowing hybrid zoom meetings. Zoom has meant that we can pick quality speakers from all overt the world.
