Photographing Warblers

The club members visited a local reed bed on the outskirts of Seend Cleeve to photograph Reed and Sedge Warblers. These tiny but striking birds fly from tropical Africa each Spring to breed in reed beds around the UK. Not to disturb the birds and to maintain a low profile we visited the site in groups of three on three different occasions. As with all wild life photography the secret is to have an understanding of the species routine, positioning one self in a suitable area to take the photograph without disturbing the subject.
