By the Sea
This week James Kerwin sadly was unable to give his talk on Abandoned Architecture, due to ill-health, look out for this talk probably next year.
So with little more than six hours notice, our very own Robert Harvey ARPS, stepped in to give a talk entitled ‘By the Sea’. Superbly taken images, process and planning were all clearly described, from all four corners of the British Isles. Robert emphasised the planning of tides, time of year and forecasts to get the best out of visiting a location.
Robert’s talk was remarkable for showing his audience just how much landscape we have
so close to home, whether it be the islands off the coast, sea arches, locations prone to spectacular stormy seas or the many castles built around our coastline.
Many thanks to Robert for such an informative and entertaining talk.Much of the content of Robert’s talk can be found in his excellent and informative book ‘Britain’s Best Landscapes and How to Photograph Them’
